Joint Watershed Conference When: October 5-7, 2010. The 5th annual Sustaining Colorado Watersheds Conference is titled "Learning from the Past to Protect our Future". The lineup of presentations, workshops and field trips offer an opportunity for watershed groups, agencies, private landowners, corporate entities, and other stakeholders to develop partnerships that will benefit Colorado's water resources. Speakers include a rousing Keynote presentation on threats to the Colorado River by Jonathan Waterman, measurable outcomes by John La Rocca, of the Renssalaerville institute, and private investments in Colorado watersheds with Margeret Bowman of the Walton Family Foundation. CLRMA is offering its Algae Ecology and Identification course during the workshop session of the conference on Tuesday, October 5th, for the discounted rate of $35.
